Established in 1978 Richard Long Limited has specialised in the transport of machinery throughout Europe. Most of the vehicles that work in Europe are registered in Holland as we have an office in Sprundel. Our headquarters is based at Crownthorpe in the UK.
The fleet comprises 50 tractor units and 60 trailers of various types, with outriggers and self offloading ramps. There are roadtrains, step trailers and extendable step trailers, spine trailers, 2,3,4 and 5 axle trailers as well as low loader trailers. The heaviest weight we can carry is 65000kg. Although we specialise in the transport of all types of loads to and from Europe and throughout the UK we also operate 13.6m flat and tautliners for more conventional loads.
